Welcoming the Year of the Rat

Okay, so today is the official start of the new year, which meant that last night was New Years Eve. Thus, I went out to supper with my uncle's family. It was funny how we couldn't decide what to do. All it was decided was we were going to have supper together, whether it was going to be at my uncle's house or out and if we go out where do we go...all this wasn't decided as of 5:00pm when my aunt left the office. I don't get off until 5:30pm so I was on standby for instructions.

Finally, it was decided we were to eat at a local Japanese restaurant called Waka Take. I've been there and have enjoyed their food so I was happy.

Yes, food was good.

Erm...yeah, so I call my mother, and father (at the golf course waaay on the other side of the world), my sister, I congratulated my friend in Germany (via WoW) tried to call his older brother but the putz, as always, wasn't picking up.
Oh yes, and cousin dearest got a phone call around 10:30 at night. . . heh, I'm sure she was surprised and laughing about my question, it was bothering me, I just couldn't figure it out!!!

New Face

A new week, a new face for work. Last week I played IT, where I went in and played around with a computer and the network server. Actually, I went and fixed the internet in the company upstairs this morning also.

This week, I'm playing the role of an accountant. I have to balance the sent and received to factory. Reconciling 2007 account, this could be interesting. Sometimes I feel like the character, Jared from the 90s show, the Pretender.
Every week I would have a new job, this makes filling out the job description and job title very VERY hard when it comes to applications. People think it's strange when I describe what I do, like I'm making it up or I keep changing jobs. Quite seriously, I just do something very different every so often for the same company.
