San Gabriel and Easter...

Went up to San Gabriel last Saturday. Checked out the local history in the San Gabriel Missionary area. Got some good shots if anyone is interested, I've uploaded it in the usual place.

This here is a photo of the Grape Vine, it's sandwiched between the Playhouse and the Missionary.
Normally I'm not a religious person, but I just had a hunkering for visiting something for Easter. It is the only time I ever really think about religion really. Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. There were many people there while I visited, I think most families had the same idea as I did. It was strange while I entered the (what do you call the active church area?), I don't usually have any qualms about taking pictures of anything however, taking pictures of the interior really threw me off. I silently asked for permission to Him before snapping any shots inside. Same thing with the shot of the graves of previous residences, I don't know why, I'm not even sure I believe in afterlife of the soul, but I just felt better to ask before I did it. There were some really neat status in the current cometary but I couldn't even set foot in there, it just creeped me out as being REALLY disrespectful.

While walking around I found these 2 gecko -like lizards sun bathing on some roof tiles. They were cute from a distance, one of them even showed off by doing some push ups for me!
Oh look, an old thing...for erm...erm... yeah I don't know what, but it looks older than me so it's got to be ANCIENT!
As for Easter Sunday itself, I stayed home. That night I had the window and curtains opened to let in the nice breeze when I happen to glance up and saw the nearly Full Moon. There was an interesting glow around it in the shape of a Cross. No, I didn't find God/religion all of the sudden, but I still appreciate the significance of it.
