'Tis the Season of Television

I watched my 2 hours a week television last night. I'm getting better, I was able to sit through 2 hours without moving in and out of the room. The two shows were Bones and House. I have a thing for 1 word titled shows apparently. I must say that I'm disappointed in Bones this season thus far. Not only with it's somewhat shoddy ending scenes (the character were OBVIOUSLY in a studio and the background was added in, "blue screen" as we used to call it). Not only that, the story-lines are not as good as it used to be. Now it's more focused on character relationships, it used to be about scientific-babble and cool discovery and suspenseful twists. Now all the OTHER stuff gets in the way of that. What DOES look good for the show is that they might have a long running mystery of who the older cannibal is from this season's opener case. It has always disappointed me that they never revisited the "Grave Digger". The two character were nearly BURIED to death and yeah, they didn't do a follow up? Not even a brief mention? Life goes on? HELLO? Okay, but that's just me.

Onwards to House. I've seen House off and on now and then, I thought it might be nice to actually sit through an episode last night so I did. I didn't even channel surf! And if you ever watched television with me you'd know I'm a total surfer, the instant it gets dull or commercial, I flip away. (Sad to say, I did split my time between shows during Bones because it was that dull) However, I didn't even think to turn away (other than on commercials), I love this new batch of students that House has to weed through his methods, their characters, I hope his previous "team" doesn't get involved TOO much. I want to see him pick a "new" team. (PS I thought the his dealing with character of Number 6 or was he 9 was great! And the old doctor, I hope he sticks around) Ha, no spoilers here!
